These terms govern the use of Mago Lucas. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use it.

We have written them to be understood. The parts that really matter are the first two: read at least those.

What Mago Lucas is: an entertainment service

Mago Lucas generates tarot readings, horoscopes, natal charts, rising signs and couple compatibility analyses. It is an entertainment service. Nothing else.

To be blunt about it:

It is not medical advice. No reading can tell you whether you are well, whether a treatment is working or whether a symptom should worry you. If you have a health problem, physical or psychological, see a doctor.
It is not psychological counselling. If you are going through a hard time, if you are having thoughts that frighten you, talk to a psychologist or a helpline. A deck of cards is not therapy.
It is not legal advice. Do not use a reading to decide whether to sue, sign a contract or respond to a legal notice. Talk to a lawyer.
It is not financial or investment advice. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy, sell or invest in anything. If you want advice about your money, talk to a licensed adviser.

The content of this site is not a substitute for the opinion of a qualified professional and must not be used to make important decisions about your life, your health, your money or other people's lives. The decisions are yours, and they remain yours.

We do not promise that what you read will come true. We make no verifiable predictions. Cartomancy and astrology are not scientific disciplines, and we do not claim otherwise.

The content is generated by artificial intelligence

The texts you read — readings, horoscopes, interpretations — are written by an artificial intelligence language model, not by a person. No card reader writes them, proofreads them or approves them before you see them.

In practical terms this means:

the text may contain errors, inconsistencies, repetitions or invented statements;
two identical questions can get different answers;
the model does not know you, does not know your life and has no access to real information about your future;
the tone can sound more confident than the content deserves: that is how these models write, not a sign of reliability.

If a piece of content strikes you as offensive, harmful or seriously wrong, report it to [EMAIL SEGNALAZIONI]. We look at it and remove it if needed.

Who can use the service

The service is for people who are 18 or older. By registering you confirm that you are of age.

If we find that an account belongs to a minor, we close it and delete the data, without refunding any credits purchased, unless the law requires otherwise.

Account

Generating content requires an account. We ask for your first name, last name, email and a password.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what happens through your account. If you think someone else has had access, change your password immediately: changing it closes every open session, on other devices too.

One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts to multiply welcome or invite credits: if we notice, we close the accounts and cancel the credits.

You can delete your account whenever you like from your profile page. What happens to your data is explained in our Privacy notice.

Credits

How they work

Services are paid for with credits. Credits are bought in packs, or received as a gift on registration and for inviting other people.

Current cost of each service:

tarot reading: 2 credits
personal horoscope: 1 credit
natal chart: 2 credits
couple compatibility: 2 credits
rising sign calculation: free

Before each generation we show you the cost and your remaining balance. If costs change, the new cost applies only to generations made after the change.

Prices and payments

Pack prices, in euro and including VAT, are shown on the purchase page. Payment is handled by Stripe: we neither handle nor store your card details.

There are no subscriptions and no automatic renewals. Every purchase is a single payment. We will never charge you anything you did not start yourself.

Validity

Credits do not expire: they stay in your balance until you use them or until you keep the account.

If you delete your account, unspent credits are lost and are not refundable. If we ever shut the service down, we would tell you a reasonable time in advance and explain how to recover the value of unused credits.

Credits cannot be transferred to other users, cannot be converted into money and are not electronic money.

If a generation fails

Credits are charged before the generation starts, to prevent abuse. If the generation fails because of a technical problem on our side or the model provider's, the credits are automatically returned to your balance.

If a generation looks like it failed but the credits did not come back, write to [EMAIL TITOLARE]: we will check and fix it.

We do not refund content that was generated correctly but that you did not like, did not find convincing or that did not come true. This is entertainment: the service is the generation of the text, not the accuracy of what it says.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, EU consumer law — implemented in Italy by Legislative Decree 206/2005, the Consumer Code — gives you 14 days to change your mind about a distance purchase, with no need to give a reason.

How that works here:

Credits bought and not used: within 14 days of purchase you may withdraw and we will refund you. Write to [EMAIL TITOLARE] identifying the purchase; the refund reaches the same payment method within 14 days.
Credits already spent: here the right of withdrawal does not apply. When you start a generation, the digital content is supplied immediately; by accepting these terms and starting the generation you expressly request that performance begin at once and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal over that content, as provided by Art. 59(1)(o) of the Italian Consumer Code (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU).

In short: you can be refunded for what you have not consumed, not for what you have already read.

What you must not do

By using Mago Lucas you agree not to:

enter other people's data. Do not write into your questions the name, surname, birth details or private affairs of someone who is not you, in a way that makes them identifiable. You do not have their consent and we cannot give it to you.
use the service to harass, threaten, defame or embarrass anyone, or to build content about a specific person without their knowledge.
enter special category data — health, sex life, political opinions, religious beliefs, criminal offence data — yours or anyone else's. This is explained in detail in our Privacy notice.
try to get around the service's filters, rephrase a rejected question to slip it through, or manipulate the model with instructions hidden in the text so that it produces content it otherwise would not.
request illegal, violent, sexually explicit, discriminatory or hateful content, or content that encourages harm to yourself or others.
pass generated content off as professional advice (medical, psychological, legal, financial) to third parties.
automate use of the service: bulk collection of public content, scraping, scripts or bots, abnormal request volumes.
resell the service or access to your account.
interfere with the site's operation: intrusion attempts, overloading, circumventing technical limits.

If you break these rules we may suspend or close your account and remove content, without notice where the breach is serious. In serious cases we reserve the right to contact the authorities.

Tarot readings are public

Tarot readings are published in the site archive by default and can be found by search engines. Your name and email do not appear, but the question does, exactly as you wrote it.

Keep that in mind when you phrase your question. You can ask us at any time, free of charge, to make a reading private or delete it, by writing to [EMAIL PRIVACY].

Astrology content (personal horoscopes, natal charts, rising sign, couple compatibility) is not published in the archive and is not indexed.

Content: who owns what

Ours

The site, its design, the editorial texts, the tarot deck images, the card descriptions, the prompts and the software belong to [RAGIONE SOCIALE] or their respective owners and are protected by copyright law. You may not copy, republish or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written consent.

What is generated for you

The text generated in answer to your request is yours to use freely for personal purposes: read it, save it, print it, share it with whomever you like, quote it with attribution.

Two honest caveats:

A text produced by a machine, without human creative input, may not be protected by copyright in many jurisdictions. We therefore cannot guarantee you an exclusive right over it, nor do we claim one ourselves.
The model may generate a similar text for someone else. That is not plagiarism: it is how these systems work.

To use generated content in a commercial product, write to [EMAIL TITOLARE] and we will discuss it.

By submitting the text of a question, you authorise us to publish the resulting reading in the site's public archive, on the terms described above and always revocably.

Availability of the service

We do our best to keep the site running, but we do not guarantee that it will always be reachable or free of errors. We may suspend it for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control.

We may change or discontinue individual features. If a change materially reduces something you have already paid for, we will tell you in advance.

The service depends on third parties (the AI model, the payment processor, the hosting infrastructure): an outage on their side can temporarily stop generations. In that case the credits charged return to your balance.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law:

The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that the content is accurate, truthful, complete or fit for any particular purpose.
We are not liable for decisions you take on the basis of what you read, nor for their consequences.
We are not liable for indirect damages: lost profits, lost opportunities, reputational harm.
Where liability does arise, it is in any case limited to what you have spent on Mago Lucas in the 12 months before the event.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any consumer rights that cannot be waived by agreement.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of the page; if the change is substantial we will notify you by email or with a notice on the site before it takes effect.

Changes apply to your use of the service from then on. We do not apply new terms to purchases already made. If you do not accept the new terms, you can stop using the service and ask for a refund of unused credits.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law.

If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of the law of the EU country where you live continue to apply, and disputes may be brought before the court of your place of residence or domicile.

You may also use the European online dispute resolution platform available on the European Commission's website, or an alternative dispute resolution body.

If you are not a consumer, the courts of [FORO COMPETENTE] have exclusive jurisdiction.
